Mölnlycke Health Care presents pain prevention and relief at Vienna congresses
Mölnlycke Health Care participated in two interesting congresses in Vienna, Austria. EPUAP and EBA focused on pressure ulcer and burns respectively.
The 16th Annual European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel Meeting took place 28-30 August at the Austria Center, Vienna.
Approx. 300 delegates and 22 exhibitors attended the congress and Mölnlycke Health Care had a 12 m² exhibition booth.
We hosted a symposium on pressure ulcer prevention where topics such as “What causes pressure ulcers?” and “How do dressings work in prevention?” were debated. The symposium was recorded and will be broadcast via webinar on Stop Pressure Ulcer Day, the 21st of November.
In addition, we arranged a workshop where Dr Joyce Black and Tod Brindle presented practical tips to prevent medical device related pressure ulcers. During this informative workshop, the participants had the opportunity to learn more about this current topic and how to prevent further patient pain, trauma and stress.
